The Basics
Is it more important in life to achieve success or attain happiness? This question could go in so many different directions. Are these two separate acquirements, or can they collide into one? This all depends on one's perception of success and happiness. There are two main dictionary definitions of success. One being the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors, while another is the attainment of wealth, position, honors, or the like. The dictionary definition of happiness is good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy. Success for one may be obtaining happiness.

The dictionary definition of happiness really should be changed. Happiness does not equal pleasure. When one just goes through life only to fulfill their pleasure needs, then they are most likely going to live immoral lives. i am andres and i approve this comment.
